How to take your measurement

 

BUST 

• Stand straight with your arms by your side
• Measure around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipple
• Only wear undergarments (bra, tape, shapewear etc) if you plan to wear them on your wedding day

UNDERBUST 

• Stand straight with your arms by your side
• Measure directly under the bust, where bra bone would sit

WAIST 

• Find the smallest part of your waistline
• This can be done by either placing your hands on your waist or tying a piece of ribbon around your waist to see where it naturally falls
• Measure directly around the smallest part of your waist 

HIPS 

• Measure directly around the fullest part of your bottom
• This area may not necessarily be directly over your hip bones

HEEL HEIGHT 

• You can find the height of your chosen heels on the brands website in the product description
• Alternatively, put your heel alongside a ruler that is perpendicular to the floor. The height is from the floor to where the sole of the heel begins
• If you are yet to choose your shoes for your big day, please add the highest height you would consider wearing so that you can hem your gown. 

SHOULDER TO BUST 

• Stand straight with your arms by your side
• Measure from the top and middle of your shoulder, where your bra strap would sit down to the nipple. 

SHOULDER TO WAIST 

• Stand straight with your arms by your side
• Start the measuring tape from the top and middle of your shoulder, where your bra strap would sit
• Measure down over the nipple, to the smallest part of your waist 

BICEP 

• Stand straight with your arm out to the side slightly
• Measure directly around the fullest part of your upper arm 

SLEEVE LENGTH 

• Stand straight with your arm out to the side slightly
• Measure from your shoulder bone to where you would like your sleeve’s trim to end on your wrist or hand 

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER FRONT 

• Measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across your collar bone

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER BACK 

• Measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across your back 

WAIST TO FLOOR 

• Stick a measuring tape to the wall with the zero beginning at the floor
• Stand straight with your back against the wall and find the correct measurement by placing a ruler from your waist to the measuring tape
• This measurement must be taken barefoot 

KNEE TO FLOOR 

• Stick a measuring tape to the wall with the zero beginning at the floor
• Stand straight with your back against the wall and find the correct measurement by placing a ruler from your knee to the measuring tape

 

Ordering & Shipping Timeframe

 We always recommend ordering your dress as soon as you have determined your wedding day. Please allow about 2-3 Months from the moment you order the dress on our website to it being delivered at your doorstep.

 

Ordering Time:

 After placing your order you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your order. This email is to verify the details of your order. If there should be any changes, please contact us immediately. Your order is processed based on availability. When your order is shipped you will receive a notification email with the tracking number for your order.

 

Processing:

 All orders are subject to product availability. Your order will not be processed until the product is confirmed to be available. Items may be on back-order and you will be notified via email.  Most orders are available to ship within 5-7 business days. For expedited ordering, please contact us.

 

Shipping: 

 ALL PACKAGES MUST BE SIGNED FOR, FOR SECURITY REASONS.

Shipping within the United States:

Orders placed and shipped within the United States may take up to 2-7 business days from PROCESSING TIME to ship.

For immediate or express shipping please contact our sales team to confirm the product availability and shipping time as some items may be back ordered or shipping directly from the manufacturer. Express shipping is available for all in-stock items. Shipping estimates will be provided at the time of checkout.

 

International Shipping:

 Orders placed and shipped from outside the United States may take up to 10-18 business days from PROCESSING TIME depending on the country for delivery. Express shipping is available for most countries. Not all carriers are available to ship to all countries we offer shipping to. Lili's reserves the right to change the shipping carrier if there is an issue with the carrier being able to deliver to the designated country within a timely matter.

Please notify us if you have a close wear date for your order so we may look into expediting your order. Lili's will not be held responsible for shipments that may take longer than expected for delivery due to shipping carrier, foreign customs policies, or additional taxes and duties that may be imposed by the destination country.

 

Foreign Duties and Taxes:

 The customer or recipient of the order is responsible for paying all taxes or duties associated with the order. Lili's will not be held responsible for shipments that are not received due to unpaid foreign duties or taxes.

I'M ENGAGED , WHATS NEXT? Congrats to you! We recommend that you begin to look for your wedding gown one year before your wedding date. Bridal gowns take about Two to Three months to be delivered after they are ordered and you may or may not need alterations. This is why it is best to give yourself plenty of time! 

 

 WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE FOR YOUR WEDDING GOWNS?

 Our dresses typically range from $300 to upwards of $2,000. Whatever your price point is, we can find the perfect dress for you.

 

WHAT SIZE RANGE DO YOU CARRY?                                  

 We typically carry dresses from size 0 to 24 (XS to 6XL). Please contact us to inquire about additional sizes. Refer to our Size chart for size info.

  

I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER A PARTICULAR DRESS THAT YOU DONT CARRY. IS THERE ANYWAY YOU CAN GET IT?

 If you have a dress style from a designer we carry we can try to special order this for you. Please Contact us for further information.

 
MY CONSULTANT TOLD ME TO ORDER A GOWN THAT IS LARGER THAN WHAT I USUALLY WEAR. IS THIS OKAY?

 Yes, Bridal gown sizes are typically different from normal clothing sizes, and it is always better to order a size up. Taking in a dress is easier than letting one out.

 

SO I JUST BOUGHT A WEDDING GOWN. NOW WHAT?

 Expect a conformation email from us within one week with you're estimated delivery day. Delivery can take up to Three months (sometimes less!)  We will email you again when the dress is shipped with the shipping conformation.

 
I NEED ALTERATIONS DONE ON MY DRESS. WHAT DO I DO?

We currently do not offer alterations. As a tip we recommend that you take an alteration time period into consideration when planning on purchasing you're wedding dress. Altering a wedding dress usually requires at least two fittings and takes about two months.

WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING AT DRESSES FOR MY BRIDAL PARTY?
